Todd’s musical journey began in 1994 when he first studied percussion at Patrick’s Road Primary School, Ferny Hills. Todd's passion for music grew and he transitioned to the drum kit in high school, where he also formed his first band with friends.
Since then, Todd has been a prominent figure in the Brisbane music scene, performing and recording across a wide range of genres, including Heavy Rock, Blues, Funk, Soul, and Jazz. He has toured both nationally and internationally including multiple tours of Japan and France. Todd has successfully co-written original music which has received airplay on networks like Rage, Triple J, and MMM and featured in TV shows and movies.
A standout moment in his career was joining 89 other drummers for the ABC’s 90th Birthday ad campaign. Todd has recently returned to the local area and is excited to share his expertise. He remains deeply committed to his craft while actively performing around Southeast Queensland with Slow Cooker R&B and the Eternal Sunshine Party Band.

Tarquin Montalroy

Taco is a highly experienced touring drummer, playing on tracks with artists such as Ross Wilson, Matt Taylor and worked with the 5 time Aria winning Paul McKercher.
He has also travelled to many many places including the UAE, Afghanistan, and Iraq to entertain out troops in the Middle-East. Taco has also shared the stage playing in the legendary Mungo Jerry. With lessons from some of the best teachers in Australia he has a high attention to technique and what it takes to make a successful drummer.
Taco has been teaching students for over 3 years helping students show progression in both technique and sight-reading capabilities can improve and lift your drumming skills and groove behind the kit.
Luke

Luke Palmada
DRUM TEACHER

Luke Palmada is a dedicated drummer and drum teacher with over 10 years of experience behind the kit. He achieved the highest mark in Queensland for Music Extension and AMEB Grade 8 Drums (High Distinction).
Luke has performed at a wide range of events and venues, including the Lord Mayor's Christmas Concert, NYE Paradise Point corporate events, weddings and functions with SisterMister Band, and live radio features on 97.3FM. He has also performed across ensembles such as Big Band, Wind Symphony, and studio groups, as well as musical theatre productions.
His teaching focuses purely on drums—developing strong technique, timing, groove, and musicality—while keeping lessons engaging and tailored to each student. Whether you're a complete beginner or advancing your skills, Luke helps students build confidence, consistency, and a genuine passion for drumming.
