DRUM TEACHER
Valid Blue Card Holder
Romy began her musical journey at the young age of six years old, and have been fascinated with music from a young age, going to my first concert at a similar age. I have a particular interest in playing indie rock style drums with musical influences from bands such as Arctic Monkeys. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Music at Griffith University, Queensland Conservatorium, where I specialise in pop drums. While I play mainly rock and indie rock styles, I enjoy playing all styles, including jazz and samba style songs. I love being able to express myself through the creative outlet which music provides, and continuing to further my own musicality. Having had over ten years of drumming lessons myself, I bring a passion to teach others what I have learnt, and to share my love for drumming.

Todd’s musical journey began in 1994 when he first studied percussion at Patrick’s Road Primary School, Ferny Hills. Todd's passion for music grew and he transitioned to the drum kit in high school, where he also formed his first band with friends.
Since then, Todd has been a prominent figure in the Brisbane music scene, performing and recording across a wide range of genres, including Heavy Rock, Blues, Funk, Soul, and Jazz. He has toured both nationally and internationally including multiple tours of Japan and France. Todd has successfully co-written original music which has received airplay on networks like Rage, Triple J, and MMM and featured in TV shows and movies.
A standout moment in his career was joining 89 other drummers for the ABC’s 90th Birthday ad campaign. Todd has recently returned to the local area and is excited to share his expertise. He remains deeply committed to his craft while actively performing around Southeast Queensland with Slow Cooker R&B and the Eternal Sunshine Party Band.
